Baize Engineering Corp provided engineering and design services to the recently opened $45 million, 224,000 square foot expansion of the National Museum for the United States Air Force at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.  The NMUSAF, which is the official museum for the United States Air Force, has one of the world’s largest collections with more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display.

Baize Engineering Corp provided engineering and design services to the recently opened $24 million, 87,000 square-foot CityWay YMCA in downtown Indianapolis.  Able to accommodate 15,000 members, the new YMCA features a four-lane, 25-yard lap pool adjacent to a zero-depth entry, warm-water pool with large Jacuzzi.  Floor-to-ceiling windows providing a view of the sidewalk outside frame one wall of a yoga studio with an exterior sitting area in front of a glass-front fireplace.  There are also three full-size basketball gymnasiums, with a 0.1-mile running track above, affording sweeping views of the city skyline on many sides.  Upstairs, a spacious open area houses the health and wellness facility, while 13,000 square feet on the Northeast side of the building houses medical offices for Franciscan St. Francis Health.

Baize Engineering Corp is providing engineering design services to the $120 million Center Hill Dam remediation project in Tennessee.   The damn was built in 1948 as a means of river control and for production of energy.  Ever growing damage on the sides, rock erosion and caverns destabilized the entire system and leading to water loss.   The U.S. Army Corp of Engineerings and the Bauer Foundation are overseeing the project’s construction.

Baize Engineering Corp is providing engineering design services for the new 151 high-end luxury apartment and mixed-use project in the heart of the vibrant, eclectic Broad Ripple Village in Indianapolis.  This marquee project will create an iconic gateway into the Broad Ripple Village.  Residents will  have the added luxury of immediate access to the new 33,500 square foot specialty grocery store anchoring the site. The project also includes a parking garage for Coil residents and customers of the grocery.  The Coil apartments and specialty grocery store are expected to open in 2016.

Baize Engineering Corp has provided engineering design services towards the construction of the new $48 million, 173,000 square foot IUPUI North Hall Student Residence.   North Hall is a traditional co-ed residence hall accommodating 700 first-year and upper-division students in single and double occupancy rooms.  It includes two large courtyards for resident activities and programming, state-of-the-art fitness center, computer labs and a game room.
